Meet the faces of GrandVision’s CSR Ambassador Community
Since 2018, GrandVision has worked to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability (CSR) into its business strategy. This has been reflected in the creation of our GrandVision Cares program and our integrated annual report publications in 2019 and 2020.
While there are many benefits to creating an integrated sustainability strategy for the entire company, we needed to connect with colleagues in our retail brands around the world to breathe life into these concepts. This prompted the establishment of GrandVision’s internal CSR Ambassador Community—a group of passionate employees from across the company representing all countries and retail brands, who took on an additional responsibility of making GrandVision’s CSR strategy a reality.
As of summer 2021, this dynamic group of more than 60 employees celebrates its two-year anniversary of ensuring our CSR-focused ideas deliver tangible impact. We are very proud of their hard work, creativity and dedication to support our CSR strategy and carry out related initiatives. For this reason, we’d like to introduce you to some of them.
We recently asked a small group of our GrandVision CSR ambassadors a few questions about their motivation and experiences as passionate drivers of positive change for the company, their countries and their retail brands. Learn more about their personal stories, the CSR initiatives they have been managing and their aspirations to make GrandVision—and the world at large—more sustainable.
